Marche and Umbria, that are still not very touristy, will definitely win your heart by their laid back charm. These regions are considered to be motorcyclist’s’ paradise, as about 30% of their territory is covered by mountains and the rest of it – by beautiful sealike hills. No wonder that many motorcycle pilots grew up here, including Valentino Rossi. We can not miss his cosy hometown and some other beautiful medieval towns on the way – Urbino, Ascoli Piceno and San Benedetto del Tronto. Get ready to taste some mouth-watering local dishes: Piadina, olive ascolane and one of the best types of Italian ham – prosciutto crudo di Norcia.

Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the Central of Italy, If you never had a chance to be there in real life you will never forget this experience, let the fun begin.
Meeting point at 9.00 am. Tour explanation, riding safety tips sharing. We will ride on highway and our first stop will be the Ducati Museum. After the visit at the Museum we will get back on the highway to arrive on the Adriatic coast. Our sail boat will wait for us and we will have our first beautiful sunset wide off the sea. If the weather conditions will be good (and depending on the numbers of participants) we may sleep on the sail boat. So we will admire also the sunrise wide off the sea. Please be aware to arrive in Milan at least one day before the tour to allow a good rest before the start. Please book accordingly.
In the Morning we will dock back at the harbor and after breakfast we will start our day climbing up the Apennine mountains. We will ride toward the hometown of Valentino Rossi and soon curve after curve we will understand why so many professional motorcycle pilots are coming from this parts of Italy. Later on we visit other four beautiful medieval villages and one canyon.
On the day number three we ride the “Adriatic great ocean road” a beautiful road along the coast with stunning views on the sea and crystal clear water and nice beaches. Back on the motorcycle we will hit the beautiful small mountains roads. Other beautiful medieval villages will be on our way to the lovely seaside in city of San Benedetto del Tronto. This city is famous for it’s beautiful seaside full of palms three, a perfect location to relax and strolling around. On the next day we will visit Ascoli Piceno with it’s famous “olive ascolane” which we will have to try and the beautiful historical city center. After a great ride we will enter in Umbria region and we will arrive at Norcia the city of the best “prosciutto crudo” of Italy. Here we will visit a farm to understand how this exquisite raw ham is done.
On the fifth day we will ride the all inland roads having fun riding up and down from the Apennines. Beautiful landscape, good curves and almost no traffic will make a memorable ride. In the evening we will arrive in Urbino a world heritage listed city. Get ready to walk in the history. On the last day of tour we will pass several famous mountain passes within the motorcyclist. Be ready for a serpentine after another and amazing photos. Last night we will celebrate the end of this unforgettable tour.
For the ones who have rented the motorcycle we will hand back at the shop and we will say goodbye. If you will fly out of Milan on this day be sure your flight is later than 15.00 , just to be sure you will make it.

Accommodations in our Adriatic coast tour will vary from hotels in larger cities to bed-and-breakfasts, homestays and farmstays in the villages.
Depending on the numbers of participants we maybe have a possibility to sleep in the sailing boat for 1 or 2 night.
A farm stay is a working farm that has been adapted to welcome guests as a hotel. The food served in farm stays is homegrown, home-cooked and delicious. Farm stays are often located in rural and beautiful areas. Staying with locals is often the best way immerse yourself into a different culture. Be aware we will spend one night on a sailboat. If you are seasick or soffer of claustrophobia or do not want share a relative small place with others please write us in advance while booking.
How many “no riding days” are in the tour ? We will ride everyday
How many km do we ride daily ? We will ride 124 miles/day (200 km/day) as an average. Obviously some days we will ride more than that and some days we will ride less.
How much motorcycle experience do I need ? You don’t need an extensive riding experience but you should be comfortable riding a motorcycle during a city’s rush hours as well as mountains roads. This will be a challenging, yet rewarding and definitely an enjoyable experience for you.
Is possible ride 2 up? Yes! You are welcome to travel with a companion. The passenger must be at least 12 years old. He/she should be able to place place both feet flat on the passenger foot pegs of the motorcycle. Riding 2 up requires more skill. The passenger should have experience traveling on the back of a motorcycle.
What about visas ? Usa, Canadian and Australians do not need a visa for Italy.
Which bag should i bring ? You should have a waterproof roll bag. Please be aware that your bag should be a good quality one. If you can’t pack all of your belongings in a 60 liters roll bag you are bringing far too much.
Can I rent the motorcycle gear ? Yes is possible to rent your motorcycle gear but we do not advice it. Much better to have your own which you are sure you are comfortable with.
What time should arrive at the first day ? Please be aware the meeting point will be at 9.00 am in Milan. Please be aware to arrive in Milan at least one day before the tour to allow a good rest before the start. Especially if you fly from far and have many hours flight or have big differences on time zones. Please book accordingly.
