Welcome to our Central Alps motorcycle tour. In this tour we will ride the Italian and the Swiss Alps. Get ready to discover different traditions, languages, cuisine, different kind of people. Travelling by a motorcycle through these two countries together with an experienced local guide, you will get an opportunity to compare the cultural diversity of the Alpine region. Be sure that one thing is common here – the great roads and stunningly beautiful mountain passes. We will ride through the Italian region of Trentino Alto Adige, where you will see Italy that does not feel like Italy at al!
The highlight of this tours are the Dolomites mountains, another UNESCO World Heritage site. You will understand why so many people from all around the world come to visit those mountains.

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to our Central Alps motorcycle tour! No matter if you have been here before or not, you will have a lot of fun!
Day 1 -2
9:00 – Tour explanation, riding safety tips sharing. Please beware to arrive to Milan at least one day BEFORE the tour starts to allow a good rest. Please book accordingly.
From Milan we will ride towards the historic Piedmont region of Italy. We will cross the Maggiore Lake (the second largest lake in Italy) and arrive to the picturesque Domodossola province. Here we will stop for the night. On the next day we will ride up 6 mountain passes in the Swiss Alps and reenter Italy from the beautiful Valchiavenna region. Delicious food of Valchiavenna will be the highlight of the evening.
We will ride back to Switzerland and back to Italy to ride up one of the most famous mountain passes in the world – the Stelvio pass. Get ready to meet lots of other motorcycle enthusiasts, just like us. We will also ride to other 6 mountain passes on the same day and we will arrive to Trentino Aldo-Adige. This Italian region is beautiful and particular with its Austro-Hugarian legacy and own language. On the day 4 we will ride to a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Dolomites mountains.
From Trentino Alto Adige through some gorgeous mountain passes we will enter in Veneto. This Italian region is well known for its beautiful cities, flavorful food and good wine. We will stop for the night nearby Asiago and Bassano del Grappa, famous for its savory cheese and strong liquors. On the last day of the tour expect some fun roads and peaceful views of Garda and Iseo lakes.
We will hand back the rented motorcycles and say goodbye. If your flight is on the same day, please make sure it is after 15:00.

Accommodation in our Central Alps tour will vary from hotels in larger cities to bed-and-breakfasts, homestays and farmstays in the Alpine villages (depending on availability). A farm stay is a working farm that has been adapted to welcome guests as a hotel. The food served in farm stays is homegrown, home-cooked and delicious. Farm stays are often located in rural and beautiful areas. Staying with locals is often the best way immerse yourself into a different culture.
–How many “no riding days” are in the tour ? We will ride everyday
-How many km do we ride daily ? We will ride 155 miles/day (250 km/day) as an average. Obviously some days we will ride more than that and some days we will ride less.
–How much of motorcycle experience do I need ? You don’t need to be a pro rider to travel with us. You should, however, be an experience motorcyclist who is comfortable riding a motorcycle during a city’s rush hours as well as on small mountains roads. This will be a challenging, yet rewarding and definitely an enjoyable experience for you.
Is possible ride 2 up? Yes! You are welcome to travel with a companion. The passenger must be at least 12 years old. He/she should be able to place place both feet flat on the passenger foot pegs of the motorcycle. Riding 2 up requires more skill. The passenger should have experience traveling on the back of a motorcycle.
What about visas ? Usa, Canadian and Australians do not need a visa for Italy.
Which bag should i bring ? You should have a waterproof roll bag. Please be aware that your bag should be a good quality one. If you can’t pack all of your belongings in a 60 liters roll bag you are bringing far too much.
Can I rent the motorcycle gear ? Yes is possible to rent your motorcycle gear but we do not advice it. Much better to have your own which you are sure you are comfortable with.
What time should arrive at the first day ? Please be aware the meeting point will be at 9.00 am in Milan. Please be aware to arrive in Milan at least one day before the tour to allow a good rest before the start. Especially if you fly from far and have many hours flight or have big differences on time zones. Please book accordingly.
